What is Solution-Focused Coaching?
Solution-focused coaching is based on the principles of Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, developed in the 1980s by Steve de Shazer, Insoo Kim Berg, and colleagues. It assumes that you already have resources and skills, even if things feel stuck right now. Instead of analysing the problem in depth, we focus on the future you want, moments where the problem is less present, and concrete next steps you can take. The work is collaborative, practical, and focused on small, meaningful changes that build momentum over time.
In our sessions, we can work on:
Inclusive leadership mindset —how you want to show up with empathy, clarity, and self-awareness, even early in your career.
Career coaching & mentoring—clarifying direction, strengths, and realistic next steps in the gaming industry.
CV & profile reviews—making sure your CV, LinkedIn, or portfolio tells a clear, coherent story.
Mock interviews—practicing real interview questions and building confidence so you can talk about your experience in a grounded, authentic way.
Format: 60–75 minute online sessions; in our first call, we agree together on length and frequency. If you’d like to work with me as a coach, you can book a session here or contact me via email.
